Individualized Therapeutic Massage
Whether you are trying to relieve stress or are suffering from back pain, knee pain, neck or shoulder pain, Massage Therapy should be a part of your treatment regimen.  Pain is often the result of your body compensating for an injury, poor posture, or working conditions.  Muscles become over-worked and tight with poor blood flow through the tissue.  Massage will help to restore the muscles to their normal condition, reduce stress, boost the immune system, loosen joints, increase flexibility, and improve posture.  Your massage will not be limited to one specific technique such as Swedish or Deep Tissue but will encompass a variety of modalities to meet your body's needs on that day.  Every massage is custom tailored for you.

Sports Massage
Massage is an important part of your fitness training, whether you are preparing for a marathon, keeping up your weekly gym routine, or just enjoying your favorite sport.  Sports Massage focuses on those muscle groups you use most and is effective in improving flexibility and preventing injuries.  Massage can also be effective in treating sports-related injuries.  A regular massage routine is an invaluable tool to shorten recovery time between workouts, relieve fatigue, and to stay injury free so you can stick to your goals.

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)
Developed by Aaron L. Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching is a method of stretching utilized by therapists, trainers, and athletes.  It is a flexibility system that involves stretching one muscle at a time.  By actively contracting muscles opposite of the targeted muscle, AIS automatically relaxes that muscle so it can be fully stretched.  The AIS technique involves holding each stretch for a maximum of 2 seconds and 8 - 10 repetitions.  It improves range of motion, circulation, and increases the elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.  This increased flexibility allows for better performance and less chance of injury.
